CPYB Launches New Site to a Standing Ovation

With a bold, new look, the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet takes center stage among international dance and performance institutions with the launch of their new web site, cpyb.org.

Carlisle, PA – TS is proud to announce the launch of the newly redesigned CPYB.org. Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet approached Triple Strength with the challenge of re-imagining a tired, dated, hard to manage web site to match their fresh, vibrant and energetic new identity, while fully integrating with a custom content management system that would allow for CPYB staff to easily add, edit and update content site-wide. The previous site was built in a blog-style format, which prohibited information hierarchy and caused lack of page depth. A substantial amount of key content resided on the homepage (ie, performances, class schedules, administrative directives, etc), causing it to become cluttered and lose focus.

Photography was a very important element to CPYB. It was crucial for the imagery to showcase the elite talent, first-rate education, and world-class performances that blossom at this illustrious Central PA institution. Innovative javascript and jquery applications enabled groundbreaking transition and interactive elements, without the use flash, making the site view consistently across both desktop and mobile browsers. The end product is an elegant balance of form and function, successfully presenting CPYB students, staff and faculty center-stage.
