The Palmyra Area Recreation & Parks Commission provides residents of the Palmyra Area School District and Borough with recreational and leisure events. Organizing such events as summer camps, sports such as Basketball, Track & Field and Soccer, as well as, 5K and Trip events, the organization uses activities to bring the community together.

The new website design is built on the WordPress content management system and allows staff to quickly and easily update the ever-changing schedules and listings for events. Matching the style of the Palmyra School District, the color palette is a bold mix of warm black and grays tones, with splashes of color from playful photos and the ever-present orange, which is most commonly attributed to Palmyra. The imagery used throughout the site shows the excited and joyful faces of local kids participating at scheduled events, as well as staff and other volunteers.
